My heart goes out to all of the family and friends of this dedicated and courageous social worker. She lost her life trying to help others. I have done a lot of research on Teri for a report that I will be giving. I am currently in a Masters level social work program so my accomplishments have added meaning now.

The Teri Zenner Social Work Safety Act is an act that is long over due and much needed for this profession and other professions dealing with at-risk populations. No one should have to die to help these individuals, but dying is a stark reality and possibility of helping mentally unstable individuals.

I have rallied all of my friends and congressmen/women to support this act. Teri"s life will not be in vain! I promise you that. It"s a very sad end to a beautiful woman but her legacy will live on in the lives of many social workers and other professionals. I love you Teri and thank you for spreading your light and love for too short of years. Your dedication in the field stands for itself.
