Thank you for visiting the Teri Zenner Memorial Web Site. This site was set up in memory of Teri, who was tragically killed while trying to make a difference in other's lives. The site was developed to show the world the wonderful life that Teri lived, to increase the nation's awareness about the violence that social workers face daily, and to spread the word about the Teri Zenner Memorial Scholarship.

The Teri Zenner Memorial Scholarship will financially assist a master's student who is pursuing her/his degree through the School of Social Welfare at the University of Kansas. We want Teri's memory to live on forever and we feel confident that, with this scholarship, it can become a reality.

Teri was a loving wife, step-mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, daughter-in-law, niece, cousin, and friend to many. Teri was a dedicated social worker who was working for Johnson County Mental Heath Center and going to school at the University of Kansas to earn her master's degree in social welfare when she died.

We welcome you to browse through Teri's site and learn more about Teri, her family, her commitment to her profession and her zest for life. On the Articles page you'll find links to many, many articles surrounding Teri's death, as well as articles about upcoming trials, the results of the trials, and the changes being made in regards to safety for social workers.

Feel free to contact the family through
